3-star themed boutique hotel on Brighton seafront with 19 individually designed rooms

Rooms

Hotel Pelirocco offers 19 uniquely themed bedrooms spread across historic Regency townhouses. Each room is individually designed to celebrate musicians and subcultures, such as the Koibito Love room inspired by Japanese love hotels or the Rebel Rebel room with a David Bowie tribute. Rooms include a record player with vinyl selections, a hammock in the Club Tropicana room, and a deep bathtub for two in the Koibito Love suite.

Entertainment & Bar

The on-site Playstation Bar serves an extensive cocktail list, including the Shark and Del Boy favorites. Guests can enjoy live entertainment and a bar atmosphere that stays open late, with music playing until 2am. The hotel also offers boudoir photography services, providing a stay experience beyond standard amenities.

Dining

Breakfast is included when booking direct, featuring locally sourced ingredients cooked fresh each morning. Options include a full English breakfast with locally sourced meats, vegan breakfast available, and homemade granola with bread from a local bakery. The breakfast room doubles as the bar in the evening, serving wine and champagne alongside a varied cocktail menu.

Location

The hotel is situated on Regency Square, directly on the seafront and a 30-second walk from Brighton Beach. It is close to the i360 Observation Tower, the North Laine shopping district, and a public car park across the street. The Brighton Conference Centre and the city's clubs, bars, and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk.

Business & Events

The hotel offers flexible meeting spaces with various seating configurations for business travelers and creative gatherings. A dedicated events team specializes in personalized service for conferences, parties, and wedding receptions. In-house catering ranges from buffet to banqueting, and the bar can be hired out for private events, as seen in past wedding celebrations.

Hotel Pelirocco is known for its unique, themed rooms, such as the Salon Rouge with its vintage French vinyl collection and the Rebel Rebel room celebrating David Bowie, creating fun and memorable experiences. Breakfast, especially the veggie option and English breakfast, receives high praise, and for those booking directly, delightful options like Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon are included. i discovered this unique haven for our anniversary. the atmosphere resonated with vibrant colors. the hotel merch was so appealing, i bought a pelirocco t-shirt as a memento. breakfast was a good start to each day we spent together.

mixed feelings about my stay

small room inconsistent shower
the location was acceptable, with easy access to nearby attractions.
I booked a double room modrophenia, and it was smaller than expected. the shower had inconsistent water temperature. It fluctuated from freezing cold to scalding hot without warning. the tv remote didn't work, so changing channels was impossible.

Unique and Good Stay

delicious breakfast lovely room unique design
This hotel has many interesting things to look at (like wallpaper, photos, and pictures everywhere!). I stayed in the Do Knit Disturb room, a very adorable space. Breakfast was delicious with homemade nutty granola and bread from the local bakery. They offered vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options, I loved the eggs Royale.
The room access to the bathroom was difficult, as the door was partly obstructed by the bed frame.
